Tom facilitates the development of Rivel's research offerings. In this role, he consults with clients on perception study findings and advises boards and management teams with a focus on developing long-term relationships, helping them to understand investor perceptions and needs. His prior experience on the buy-side provides him with invaluable insight that enables him to advise companies strategically on best-practice methods for communication and improved valuation. His focus spans across various industries, including technology, healthcare, materials and more. He works with both mid- and small-cap companies.
Tom began his career working for Emigrant Bank where he was responsible for the daily trading operations, managing liquidity and strategically investing in both fixed income securities and co-investment opportunities. He was also responsible for the day-to-day investing of the Bank's short-term municipal auction rate portfolio.
Tom is an avid golfer. His favorite course is Hogs Head in Waterville, Ireland. He enjoys travelling the world in search of the best food and beach clubs and exploring his SoHo neighborhood in Manhattan for the best Italian food. He has recently discovered a passion for fashion photography.
He graduated with a BA in Economics (Mathematics - minor) from Villanova University.
