Jonathan consults with bank and credit union leadership, drawing from Customer and Prospect Benchmark report data to help them assess, tailor and track their marketing, customer retention and expansion strategies.
Prior to joining the Rivel family, Jonathan spent over 20 years leading business-wide systems implementations and transformation initiatives. His clients ranged in the fields of banking and farm credit, cooperative distribution, financial supply chain, digital marketing, and publishing. He maintains Project Management Professional and Agile Practitioner certifications.
Jonathan is also passionate about STEM education. He invented and co-developed a Boolean logic-strategy card game for students, served on the State of Minnesota Department of Education’s Advisory Panel for Curricular Technology Assessment, and designed a Blockchain learning module for Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Jonathan spent several years as a 4-H horse club and school Robotics Club parent and volunteer. He now enjoys time with his wife and three (nearly grown) children, playing guitar, reading (mostly non-fiction), occasional software programming, cooking, trivia, and watching YouTube videos (especially music and math). He was a finalist in The New Yorker cartoon caption contest and a contestant on Jeopardy!
He earned a BA in Theater Arts and an EM in Science & Technology Leadership from Brown University.
