For over 25 years, Dave has helped public companies cut through governance and sustainability/ESG complexity to mitigate risk, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and drive real-world outcomes. At Rivel, he oversees business development, steers Rivel’s global revenue strategy, and leads consulting for the Governance & Sustainability practice he founded—partnering with CEOs, boards, sustainability, and IR leaders on disclosure, global regulations, investor and general stakeholder engagement, and pragmatic, framework‑aligned reporting.

Dave’s work connects corporate strategy to reporting standards (SASB/IFRS, TCFD, GRI, CSRD) so organizations communicate with clarity and credibility while meeting evolving regulatory demands.

Throughout his career, Dave has managed complex engagements, including corporate actions, annual and special meetings, and high-profile proxy campaigns. He collaborates with directors and counsel to design and execute tailored board evaluations that assess alignment of strategy, risk management, and corporate culture.

Before joining Rivel, Dave held senior leadership roles at firms such as Georgeson, Laurel Hill Advisory Group, AST Phoenix Advisors, and Argyle. Beyond client work, Dave serves on the advisory board for the School of Arts & Sciences at the New York Institute of Technology and the NIRI Virtual Chapter board, is a Vistage member, a certified professional coach and current U.S. Youth Soccer Eastern New York Olympic Development Program coach. He holds a BA in English from the New York Institute of Technology.

Limor leads the Governance and Sustainability division, where she is responsible for the development and execution of Rivel’s Corporate Governance Intelligence Council, Corporate Responsibility Advisory (ESG) and Board Evaluation services on both a national and international level.

Limor’s wealth of experience and practical expertise help strengthen the strategic value-add Rivel offers clients in corporate governance and sustainability. Limor advises clients on matters such as stakeholder engagement, materiality assessments and SEC disclosure. She provides guidance and support for clients in creating custom, focused and strategically relevant corporate ESG/sustainability reporting. Limor is admitted to the Massachusetts and New York Bars and is a former member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Financials Sector Standards Advisory Group.

Prior to joining Rivel, Limor was senior vice president and assistant general counsel, head of corporate environmental and social governance at Regions Bank. Prior to Regions, she was a senior ESG analyst at Calvert Research and Management, the head of U.S. ESG research at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

In her free time, Limor enjoys spending time with her husband and young children, spending summer days at the beach and traveling.

She graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with a BA in environmental studies from Brandeis University and has earned a JD in environmental law from the University of Maryland School of Law and an MS in sustainability management from Columbia University.

Laura brings extensive consulting experience in sustainability strategy, climate risk and ESG assurance to Rivel’s Governance and Sustainability team. In her role as Director, she helps companies align with frameworks and standards such as TCFD, TNFD and SASB, navigate international regulations including CSRD, CSDDD and SFDR, and conduct double materiality assessments.

Before joining Rivel, Laura served as a senior sustainability consultant at KPMG Netherlands, where she specialized in corporate sustainability strategy, with specific knowledge of ESG assurance, climate risk, sustainable supply chains and sustainable finance. Prior to KPMG, Laura worked at Berenschot in the Energy and Sustainability division, gaining expertise in technology road mapping for large stakeholder partnerships, sustainable technologies and the energy transition.

Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in Law, Statistics and Economics (cum laude) from University College Roosevelt in the Netherlands, and a Master of Science in Sustainable Business and Innovation (magna cum laude) from Utrecht University.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys outdoor activities like running, hiking, camping and skiing, as well as creative pursuits such as painting and sketching.

Anissa Vasquez serves as a director on Rivel’s governance and sustainability team, advising clients on environmental, social, and governance strategy, disclosure, and regulatory compliance. She helps companies navigate evolving regulated reporting needs such as the California climate disclosure laws (SB 253 and SB 261) and CSRD, while aligning with frameworks like TCFD, ISSB S1 and S2, and SASB. Her work includes preparing sustainability reports, conducting materiality assessments, supporting ESG assurance readiness, and translating complex requirements into clear, credible narratives for boards, executives, and stakeholders.

Before joining Rivel, Vasquez led in-house sustainability programs at Latham & Watkins and Persefoni, directing ESG strategy and reporting capabilities across the U.S., U.K., and EU. Her background spans corporate and advisory roles, with a focus on aligning climate strategy with disclosure expectations and driving value through sustainability.

Vasquez has published work in Fast Company and Trellis (formerly GreenBiz) and co-authored ESG reports with NACD and ERM. She frequently speaks at conferences, including events hosted by Pensions & Investments and the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.

Outside of work, Vasquez is a creative writer and avid reader. She enjoys paddleboarding, live music in New York, and teaching herself piano. Most days, she explores the outdoors or relaxes with her dog, Lacy.

Vasquez holds dual degrees in environment, sustainability, and policy and geography from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School, where she was part of the inaugural graduating class of the ESP program.

As an associate director, Genevieve is instrumental in providing ESG consultancy to Rivel clients. Specializing in governance and sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with global regulations and investor expectations, Genevieve ensures clients navigate the complex landscape effectively.

Bringing a wealth of experience, Genevieve previously served as Senior Consultant, Corporate Governance and ESG at Aon. Her role involved analyzing global reporting trends and regulations, institutional investor pressures and proxy advisor expectations. Prior to Aon, she served as Program Manager of the Raj & Kamla Gupta Governance Institute at LeBow College of Business, focusing on forward-looking governance themes.

Outside of work, she resides in the Philadelphia suburbs with her dogs, Bug and Roo, and enjoys spending summer weekends at the Jersey shore. A biking enthusiast, she indulges in various biking activities, including road biking and teaching spin classes at a local studio.

Genevieve holds a bachelor’s degree in science from Pennsylvania State University.

Alex Jones, an associate director of governance and sustainability at Rivel, partners with companies to create and advance corporate sustainability, responsibility strategies and reporting. To do so, he provides individualized education, develops tailored research and insights, and guides companies to take meaningful action on the environmental, social, and ethical dimensions of their businesses. He’s experienced in sustainability strategy development, sustainability reporting, ESG disclosure and due diligence regulations, double materiality assessment, and stakeholder engagement on issues related to corporate responsibility. Passionate about sustainability education, he regularly guest-lectures at colleges and universities on the subject matter to share the vision and positive potential of a sustainable and inclusive economy with future generations of leaders.

Before joining Rivel, Jones worked with the Responsible Companies section of Frank Bold in Brno, Czech Republic, where he contributed to research on the quality of corporate sustainability reporting in Europe to support public policy development in the days before CSRD. In this work, he was involved in the Alliance for Corporate Transparency project and supported the European Coalition for Corporate Justice in advocating for EU-level reform on corporate sustainability disclosure and human rights due diligence in global value chains.

Jones is a competitive runner, loves playing reggae music on the ukulele, and enjoys a good cup of coffee (or two). He volunteers as an advisor at Torch Leadership Academy, a nonprofit leadership development program for high school students in his home state of New Jersey, where he helps build and deliver training content.

He graduated magna cum laude from Juniata College with a Bachelor of Arts in leadership in social enterprise and a minor in German.
